Alfa Laval, said the company would be setting a total plant, from start to finish with a capacity of one-lakh litres per day. This plant would cater to distillation, fermentation and effluent treatment. Molasses will be the raw material, he said. The order value of the plant is to the tune of Rs 23 crore. The alcohol that would be produced is for portable alcohol, which would be utilised for drinking purposes.
